Thank you so much for your love and support!

Terri Fisher, retired President and CEO of Fisher Hornor Associates, Inc., a full-service international relocation consulting firm she founded in 1982, was the only African American woman in the U.S with such distinction.

Ms. Fisher attended Rutgers University and was recommended for an Executive Training Program at Dartmouth College. Her professional accomplishments include New Jersey Licensed Real Estate Broker, Certified Minority- and Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE), Certified Relocation Professional, Global Mobility Specialist and Member of the NY/NJ Minority Purchasing Council. She has been featured in Fortune magazine, New Jersey Business Journal, and the book, 100 Best Businesses to Start.

Terri is the proud sponsor and supporter of community and charitable organizations. Always with a love for children, she and husband, Dr. Harold Fisher, developed the I Accept the Challenge Program for youth which won the Katherine Hawes Education Award from the National Presbyterian Church. She never forgot one little boy in the Program who always loved to sit at her feet, listening to stories she would read. He and the experiences of her four lively granddaughters catapulted “the author Terri” into existence as she has published The Adventures of Grandma Terri children’s book series.

Ms. Fisher is now retired and stays active by spending time with her family and sharing her “Adventures” books with children and adults at schools, churches, children’s hospitals, and private book signings to spread happiness and inspiration.

The Adventures of Grandma Terri

Grandma Terri Drives the School Bus

Author, Terri Fisher, is excited to share her children’s picture book, Grandma Terri Drives the School Bus, the first in The Adventures of Grandma Terri series. This true, whimsical story about her grandkids was written during the time the family faced incredible challenges when granddaughter Nia at age 4 was diagnosed with neuroblastoma. Now an energetic teenager and healed, Nia spends lots of time swimming, learning, and enjoying life with her two younger sisters, Nyla and Nyelle. While those past years were extremely difficult, Mom Kelli, a woman of incredible strength and faith, had the support of her own parents, Grandma Terri and “Popalo” as the girls call him, as well as other family members and friends.

Grandma Terri’s Hospital Visit

The second book in the Adventures series is Grandma Terri’s Hospital Visit. It was written to celebrate all children and their families who display such courage and hope in the face of adversity. “Writing these stories helped me keep my sanity during the trials we faced. God simply dropped the words into my mind,” Terri said. Her hope is to bring a smile and encouragement to families going through major challenges by reading and sharing the Adventures.

Grandma Terri Flies the Airplane

SHE’S BAAACKK!! Since the last two Adventures books written about granddaughters Nia and Nyla, Grandma Terri was blessed with two more granddaughters, Autumn 13 and Nyelle 10, who have been anxiously awaiting stories in their honor. She also knows that her beautiful third addition, granddaughter Skye Nikol, continues to watch from above, knowing that her story is forever etched in Grandma Terri’s heart. Autumn and Nyelle now take center stage as they’re featured in this third book, Grandma Terri Flies the Airplane!
